 Lean In Belfast REVIEWS

As a working mum it is hard to get the opportunity to get out and about as much as I would like to. Lean In at Boden Park Coffee Co was a great night and opportunity to network in a relaxed way, good food and company combined! I definitely will be keeping my name on the list for future events.

Lean In Summer Social, August 2017

Claire Martin, Director (Communications, Information & Education, Public & Political Affairs) NI Human Rights Commission

The Lean In Belfast training sessions, which are delivered in partnership with Allstate, bring together diverse groups of individuals all wanting to develop the necessary skills to advance in their careers.

While Lean In was established with the aim of addressing a deficit in the number of women in leadership roles, these training sessions are open for everyone to attend. Each session focuses on a different area - it isn’t the case that you have to attend all of them in order to recap benefits, but it is worthwhile taking the time to attend as many as possible.

Organised over lunchtime, these sessions are short but the trainers cover a lot of ground, impart new skills and always prompt self-reflection.

This is a great scheme and participation is highly recommended based on a very positive experience of it to date."

I thought the event was excellent.
It was my first LeanIn event and I was made to feel very welcome.
I was unsure as to whether I would get away from the office, but I made a conscious effort and it was worth it.
